As you should already know, foxes are known to be cunning and sneaky, and are often portrayed in stories as conniving cheats.

A few facts about foxes:

• It's small with thick fur and bushy tail.

• The female is larger than the male.

• They're usually 90 cm to 112 cm long

• Can be red, white, or grey.

• Like to run in the woods and hide in trash.

• Often hunt at noon.

• In winter, after they eat, they snowplow the snow with their nose.

• Foxes live in dens, woods, hollow logs, under rocks, and in small caves. Some live in thick bushes with branches.

• They live all over the world, incuding the Arctic.

• They eat mice, rabbits, and insects, chickens, snails, frogs, milk , snow, beavers, seal pups, and apples.
